This dynamo torch has 5 LED's and a panic alarm. You can charge it from a USB port and it gives 6 hours of light when fully charged this way.
1 minute of winding gives 10-15 minutes of light and 3 minutes winding can give 60 minutes of light.

I bought this torch as a gift for someone, who has previously received many a torch related product, such as the 1000 candle power torch. Thinking that this would easily top the list, I bought it. Arriving at my door moments later (OK, it was a little longer than that but still a reasonable delivery time) was the Torch.
Part II - The First Unboxing.
To my surprise said box was quite disappointing, it was thick cardboard with dull graphics. But then again, I didn't buy the torch for the box, that's merely a hard crunchy outer shell to a soft nougaty centre. After this initial shock, I removed the contents.
Part III - The Phantom Instructions
I removed the contents carefully and noted that there were no instructions in the box, you may say "Who needs instructions with a torch?" Well... Me. Other than the lack of instructions, the torch seemed excellent, a quick wind up provided adequate power for a test. The panic alarm was loud to say the least and the USB charger seemed rather pointless, unless you're too lazy to charge the torch up for a while. No offence if you are, well actually, offence.
Part IV - The Return of the Torch
The day is Christmas day, and someone is about to receive a torch. A wind-up torch. A wind-up torch with panic alarm. A wind-up torch with a panic alarm and a USB charger. They open the gift with a look of delight on their face as they realize what awaits them. They switch it on and it still has charge in (!) from about a month ago, and its pretty bright as well. Jolly good torch in my opinion, jolly good.
Part V - The Buyer Strikes Back
It's been a while since I bought the torch. Do I regret it? Yes, but only because it's good, a little too good... And I now regret not buying it for myself, and also because it makes a good twist to the end of the review. I have to go now, before I take up too much space on the amazon servers and they get clogged up with waffle.
