The photographs inside are quite small 4cm x 4cm (numbers 1,2,4,5,7,8,10&11) and 6.5cm x 4cm (numbers 3,6,9&12). However having said that the overall size of the clock is 40cm x 40cm (16") which is a nice size. It is definatley a talking piece when people see it! We got our children to hold numbers to their faces and took photos. A fun way to help them learn the time! I would highly recommend this clock.
