Customer Rating: Summary: The Bendy Clock Co. Comment: This clock is available in several different guises, but don't be fooled - The only difference appears to be the stuck-on face of the clock itself, and sometimes a slightly different hanging bracket. Outdoor / Garden Victorian Railway Station Clock
With regard to the previous two reviews, I can only say that I can see where they are coming from. Even allowing for the price, when you get to see this item in the flesh for the first time, you are in no doubt that this is a cheap clock.
I guess that you cannot expect miracles, but this item is basically two battery kitchen type clocks fixed back to back by a hinge and a flimsy (bendy) clasp, which I would guess is not very watertight even when fully closed. Considering that this is going to be out in all weathers, there is no cover over the battery compartment and it protrudes at a ninety degree angle from the wall it is going to be fixed to, AND the hanging bracket is made of some kind of thin sprung steel, I have found that even in the most mild of breezes this clock does bounce around quite a lot.
Also in common with the previous reviewer, the stuck on face on the clock has already started to bubble, and this is after just two weeks of being fixed up.
That said, both clock faces are keeping good time, and at the moment it has managed to stay on the wall. However, taking the above 'build quality' into consideration, I would guess that we will be lucky to see this clock still functioning by the spring. (No pun intended). Customer Rating: Summary: Fell Apart Comment: Oh dear. Had this as a present in April. Fairly straight forward to hang up. However, first one side stopped working (despite changing batteries), then the clock face on both sides started warping due to wet and cold I presume. Then came home one day and the clock was on the ground smashed -pressume it couldn't withstand wind etc. Very disappointed.
