Ultrasound waves disrupt behaviour patterns of pests. Safe near children and family pets, chemical free. Electromagnetic interference stops pests nesting in walls, ceilings and anywhere near electric cables. High sonic signal repels mosquitoes in the room where placed. Covers the whole house up to 2000 sq feet, 2 year warranty.
This unit is equipped with three pest repelling functions: 1. Ultrasonic waves, which cause auditory stress to pests in the room where the unit is positioned. Ultrasound does not penetrate walls or other solid objects, and is best positioned with an unobstructed view of the target area. 2. Dual electromagnetic settings to drive pests out from their nesting places in wall and ceiling spaces. 3. Mosquito function ideal for foreign holidays.
Fluctuating ultrasonic waves cause auditory stress to mice, rats and most crawling insects, which disrupt their normal behaviour patterns and makes it uncomfortable for them to stay in the same room as the Pest-Stop 2000.
The electromagnetic function uses every electrical cable in the building to carry and transmit a signal, which can be detected by the pests up to 1 metre from any cable, even inside wall and ceiling spaces.
The mosquito setting emits an ultrasonic signal, which is designed to deter mosquitoes in the room where the unit is positioned. Direct plug-in design use almost anywhere in the home. Safe and effective no chemicals or traps. Will not affect humans, cats, dogs, fish or birds.

Customer Rating: Summary: Satisfied Customer Comment: We live in rural Devon and we'd been plagued by wood mice for 15 years - in all parts of our house, doing £100s of damage. Since we installed this device over a year ago, they've left us alone. Still rife in the garden & outbuildings, and in neighbours' houses, but our house is currently wood mouse free...
So I'd say, give it a try. Maybe its effectiveness varies from species to species. Could be the people it's not working for are dealing with house mice (grey/black urban animals) rather than wood mice (brown rural counterparts). Customer Rating: Summary: IMPOSSIBLE Comment: How they can claim this works with all pests is unbelievable. The biology or rodents and insects cannot be any further apart. Those of you who have has success, the reason is probably that they died of natural causes. Anyway, I bet the person who thought it worked for ants has changed their mind by now. It didn't for me. I spoke to a pest controller who sorted my problem out. He said quote, 'if they worked I'd be a millionaire, if they worked my suppliers would sell them, take it back and get your money back!, oh and ants don't have ears and rats couldn't care less!" Customer Rating: Summary: +ve good results Comment: I used two in my 3 story 5 flats Victorian house. They have done a good job! I now intend to buy two more to get complete coverage. I used the setting 'continuous'.I just left it on permanently. Maybe I could try 'random' as well, who knows? Customer Rating: Summary: Doesn't work for ants - Nice Idea, but not effective Comment: We've had a minor ant invasion in our kitchen. This device has been operational for nearly two weeks. Liked the idea of a non-chemical solution as we have a young baby, so thought we'd give this a try. If anything there are now more ants than before. Had a pest control expert from the council in to take a look and he suggested the only way this would work effectively was if we unplugged it and used it to hit/squash the ants...
An expensive waste of time - use good ant killer gel/spray is the advise we received. Customer Rating: Summary: It worked for me!! Comment: Maybe I'm just lucky, but I bought one in Jan08 as we had rodents in the attic (no idea how they got in) and haven't had a problem since!
