Twenty years after Nintendos biggest franchise was born, the Mario Bros. return in a dazzling, all-new platformer sure to set players fingers twitching. Fans from Marios classic days will see their dreams answered in this return to the Mushroom Kingdom, while a new generation of Mario players will learn what true platforming greatness means. Run, jump and battle enemies through multiple levels in each world. Every time players finish one world, they can move onto the next, but each level features impediments in the forms of fortresses, Hammer Bros. and bosses. After defeating the boss of each world, players can move on to the next, culminating in the final fight in the last world. Mario and Luigi can do all kinds of jump maneuvers: increasingly high triple jumps, wall jumps and high bounces off enemies. Mario also can use power-ups like Mushrooms (grow big), Fire Flowers (throw fireballs), Starmen (become invincible), Blue Shells (turn into a speedy, blue Koopa shell) and other mushrooms that make him tiny or huge. In addition to the main game and the wireless two-player mode, players also can use the touch screen to play tons of minigames (either by themselves or over DS Local Area Network with 1 to 4 players via DS Download Play). These include card games, targetbopping-type games and much more. Features: Jump, bounce and power-up through visually stunning side-scrolling worlds filled with Mushroom Kingdom madness. Mushrooms make Mario ultra-tiny or ultrahuge, and new items like the Blue Shell (which transforms Mario into a spinning shell that wipes out enemies) will keep players on their toes. The worlds are swarming with classic enemies like Goombas and Koopas, but watch out for new foes, big bosses and unbelievable challenges. As Mario and Luigi, two players can battle for stars on specially designed levels over local wireless. The game wont end until one bro. reigns supreme.

Comment: At first i apsolutely loved the game me and my sis took turns playing the mini games then we thought lets start the proper game it was fun cause the first level was really easy! but then on the second level it started off fun cause you could get loads more coins but as soon as i took and accidental fall i had to start the whole GAME!! all over again this got frustrating but then i finally passed the second level then i got onto the third which was really fun where you had to leap on and off mushrooms but i was doing really well and passed and then on level four GAME OVER!! now i may be rubbish at games and i may not be but this game is extreamly frustrating so i would rate it 7+ but overall its fun and there are so many exciting games to choose from but yeah its hard!!! Customer Rating: Summary: Play this game - it's good!!! Comment: This DS game is really good fun, and also it gets really difficult! You start off with one world that you play on, and you have to unlock the next stages and worlds by completing the stage/s you are on. You have to avoid some creatures completely, but for some creatures you can jump on them to kill them, or fire at them if you are the 'fire mario'.
You have lives, and when you have run out of lives then it's game over and all you have played/completed AND NOT SAVED will be gone. When you complete each world, it saves, as well as completeing each special castle and also buying 'mushroom houses'.

Comment: Absolutely brilliant, this game lasts for ages and doesn't get repetitive. The single player mini games are great to play on your own or over wi-fi, and the Mario vs Luigi wi-fi game is very fun....without a doubt i would say to anyone BUY IT! I dont think the skill level is too great for regular gamers - but for me is set just right to keep from frustration that would make me put it down. Multiplayer function and games good. I loved this. Comment: i thought this game was really good. got onto world 3 then saved it and turned the ds off... turned back on to find the file saved was not longer there! this happened twice. I know it definitly saved because i loaded it back up whilst the console was still turned on, but as soon as i turned it off... it was gone.
