Customer Rating: Summary: Great product! Comment: I needed a relatively portable device for dumping the raw files from my digital camera when out and about. I considered the various storage devices that incorporate screens for viewing the images but thought most if not all of them way overpriced. Then I stumbled across this product with intergrated card readers which at £43 approx for a 300Gb external drive seemed to good to miss, to view the images I was considering a cheap laptop, but with laptops generally you get what you pay for and they are quite big for carrying around. My son suggested borrowing his 4Gb ASUS Eee PC which has a solid state hard drive thus making it quite robust. Connecting and using the ATMT was breeze on my desktop pc everything self installed itself and I was up and running in 5 minutes. The ASUS was even quicker any installation that did occur was invisible, brilliant. As other posters have said the product looks good and robustly well made. Looking forward to using over the next few days, then I may well be looking for an Asus as they appear to be a good combination. It is just a little bigger than a video cassette, weighs about as much as a bag of sugar, and feels very sturdy, so should be safe for transporting files between places or giving more storage with a laptop.
Backing up files from your pc is just a simple drag-and-drop process
To start I simply plugged the power unit into the mains, the USB cable between the mediasix and my computer, and it was immediately recognised by windows Vista with no messing about having to find updates and drivers.
Bonus points to ATMT for providing the USB A to B cable so it could be used immediately, not like other firms who expect you to buy a cable separately. Printer manufacturers please copy!!
Another convenient feature is the two USB sockets on the front of the mediasix, so I can just plug in other USB devices without having to scrabble round the back of the computer to swap plugs.
Its a seagate drive, so should be reliable, and the unit is well made. I'm very happy I bought this!

Customer Rating: Summary: ATMT 362 - MEDIASIX - 6 IN 1 Memory Card Reader - External H Comment: I have been looking to purchase an external hard drive for a few weeks and have spent some time researching the options available. I came across this item on Amazon purely by chance while killing a few minutes 1 evening. Having never heard of ATMT before I did a little research and was sufficiently impressed with what I read and therefore I decided to take the plunge. The parcel was quickly dispatched and arrived safely 6 days later.
The hard drive was well packed and I was pleasantly surprised by the compact design, low weight and general well built feel it has. It was simple to use for the first time, plug and play, and already finds itself home to 220GB of music and movies. This item is very competively priced and not low on specification. I hope my initial impression will serve me long into the future.
Customer Rating: Summary: External HDD with Memory Card Reader Comment: I use a digital camera every day with my work, so this product was perfect, now i don't need to mess around with usb cables in the back of my PC. I take the SD memory card straight out of my digital camera and plug it straight in to the external Hard Drive. 300GB is more than enough space for high resolution pictures and it also has a USB hub (which i havn't had a need for yet but im sure will come in handy)
