Spotlight customer reviews:
Customer Rating: Summary: Great value for money? Comment: Some people suggest that buying this product is pointless as you can print only ~150 pages with it. Well, if you only use original ink, the above statement is true.
I, on the other hand, used refill kits when I ran out of ink. It's unbelievable, but I refilled it over 14 times!! All other cartridges let you refill them only 3-4 times and then produce very poor quality or even stop working. Customer Rating: Summary: You must be joking Comment: Went to buy this item, needed a fair few as I go through a lot of ink. Had to decide against it as they tried to charge me more than the value of the items in postage and packaging, About £24. Not good if you ask me. Customer Rating: Summary: Hp 21, Great Cartridge But Why Only 5ml Of Ink??????????? Comment: I Brought my Deskjet F380 from Argos for under £25.00, What a great deal I thought print/scanner/copier all for less then £25.00 but when it came to replacing the ink cartridge for it 21/22. The Hp Con became apparent. Hp sell you a really really good printer for next to nothing but only offer very small 5ml cartridges for it. Even with Amazon's great prices I still am spending £15-20 pounds on these ridiculous small cartridges. Following the advice on this page I have tried the British premium compatible Hp21's with 20mls of ink from advantage-online, They work great and last a hell of alot longer X4 than HP the originals. Customer Rating: Summary: Saved me alot of money. Thanks :) Comment: I saw a review saying that the Hp original black cartridges hold only 5mls of ink in them and to use another company (advantage-online.co.uk). Thanks for the advice ordered on Sunday night and they delivered Tuesday morning (no delivery charge). They work great in my Deskjet F380 and I have printed off 80 pages of course work and they are still showing over half full. Its turned a over priced printer into a very cheap printer to run. Customer Rating: Summary: HP can take a running jump... Comment: I bought the product direct from HP, because I vaguely remembered paying more for a generic brand a couple of years ago.. More fool me!
Printed about 170 pages and then nothing. I'm not sure what the hell has happened since I last bought an ink cartridge [been paying horrible fees to use the ones at the library in the mean time] but this doesn't seem right at all. The postage was prompt, although the box really could have had a small tv in it. But seriously? 170 pages? That's insane!! It works out at about 6p per bloody sheet!
