If, like me, you are a novice in the kitchen and looking to replace a cheap set of knives then these are the ones for you. Much sharper than my old knives ever were and feel nice in the hand.

The knives feel plasticy and don't fit properly in the block. Needless to say I returned this item for a refund with the reason code "quality not as expected". Unfortunately i did not realise there would be such a difference in quality between different products in the Henckels range. I assummed anything from Henckels would be quality. All I can say about the "fine edge pro" set is that the blade is flimsy, the handle is plasticy and whole knife balance doesn't feel right. These are not £200 worth, £50 is more the correct price so just as well they reduced to £50. Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent Comment: There are one or two negative reviews for this knife set and I looked long and hard at alternatives - all of which were very expensive. Eventually I decided to take a punt on these and I have absolutely no regrets. Quite simply, this is fantastic value and I'm very very happy with them - I feel like I could have paid at least 4 times as much and not been any happier.
